Background:

Kitara is a Journeyman Starcrafter specializing in meteorology and tracking Threadfall patterns. Originally from Tillek, Kitara relocated to Austra after her promotion to Journeyman, and has lived there ever since.

Kitara came from a long line of Seacrafters, and spent much of her early life on ships. She developed a fascination with the weather at a young age, and learned a vast amount of intuitive weather knowledge from the Seacrafters she spent time with. She applied that knowledge to her apprenticeship with the Starcraft, in addition to learning Threadfall prediction and stellar navigation.

Kitara has a sweet tooth, and has a tendency to nibble on various snacks throughout the day. She’s known for making regular trips to the bakery to order large amounts of cookies and biscuits - enough to last her a seven! - as well as copious amounts of klah.

Unlike most of the Starcrafters at the Plateau, Kitara works during the day. As such, she’s usually the one on call to welcome visitors when they come to the Plateau.
