Note: Capricath's dragon description follows the template used by most Pern MUSH games for dragon character creation. On Dragon Wings doesn't require this, but I went ahead and wrote it this way anyway!
Ruka's To the Stars through Hardships Blue Capricath

Burning Out the Blue Egg
Splashes of green amid a backdrop of midnight blue bring to mind lush islands floating in the night sky. Wisps of pink and purple resemble clouds reaching across the sky - or are they flames? - and cast a bright glow over the sands.
Hatching Message
As the egg shivers and quakes, the lush green islands shake and pulsate as if affected by an aerial earthquake. Large webbed cracks appear as dark lightning bolts streaking across the sky, and massive rends and fractures in the floating earth. The cracks multiply until the islands shatter, revealing bright blue-green hide. The blue color deepens as a dragonet flops out, like the flowing of a waterfall.
To the Stars through Hardships Blue Dragonet
From bright cyan blue to a deep teal blue, splashed against a backdrop of vibrant night sky blue, this dragonet embodies the ocean surf on a warm summer day, as time passes from early morning to late evening. Scattered across the teal-dappled hide are numerous shimmering speckles of bluish silvery white, resembling the reflection of a star-spangled summer night sky over the sea.
Public Impression Message
The To the Stars through Hardships Blue Dragonet looks around curiously, drinking in the sight of the sands and the white-robed candidates standing around him. He stands up and shakes himself, sand grains and eggshells flying in all directions, and wanders around. He weaves in and out between the candidates, looking up at each one. No, they're not the one. Then, he senses it. Senses her. He stops in front of a small, petite girl with short black hair and warm brown eyes. Eyes that look back at him with awe and wonder.
Private Impression Message
A river of stars flows through your mind, seeping through every nook and cranny, every channel and tributary, every bit and piece that makes you you, ending in a vast waterfall, its cataracts resembling the arms of the Milky Way.
Haruka! No… Ruka, now. I am Capricath. We'll go beyond the stars together, you and I!
Your eyes widen in surprise as a bright, inquisitive mind joins together with yours. A sweet, sunny, curious presence, with a drive to know and understand the world, and an enormous capacity for love. The feeling flows through you like a warm balm - a feeling of deep, unconditional love, along with the strength and support for it to thrive. Before you is the other half of yourself, a dragon - a sibling - born for times of delight and distress. An assurance that you will never be alone ever again.
But first, is there food? I'm hungry, and so are you!
Physicalities
Capricath is a small, lean blue, with sleek, dainty curves and a feminine grace. His star-studded wings are large and elegant, especially when unfurled. As he grows, he'll tend to eat a lot, with a stomach like a black hole, sucking up everything in sight. He'll also be a little clumsy as the rest of his limbs catch up with his wings. As an adult, he is long and agile, and what he lacks in strength he makes up for in speed.
Mindvoice, Mindscape and Personality
Mindvoice
Capricath is a very talkative dragon. Once he's found something interesting to consider, he won't stop talking about it, in a bright and animated tone. And he finds everything interesting. Thus, his thought process is a constant undercurrent to Ruka's own thoughts. As he grows, Capricath will eventually opt for periods of quiet reflection instead of a constant verbal record of his thought process. This in turn makes his statements all the more thought-provoking, endearing, and sometimes even comedic.
Mindscape
The universe and all of its natural phenomena are contained in Capricath's mindscape, and change according to his moods. There is the joy of discovery in the trails of shooting stars and comets, and bursts of anger in the hearts of exploding stars and supernovas.
Personality
Capricath is a born explorer with a strong sense of adventure, and finds the world absolutely fascinating. He's bright, inquisitive and highly curious, with a strong drive to know and understand things around him. It's his and Ruka's shared dream to travel all over Pern and explore new places.
Capricath is generally kind and friendly, and he has a clever and witty sense of humor. He often makes jokes or funny statements to cheer Ruka up or defuse tense situations. He dislikes conflict, but is willing to step in when needed to mediate or de-escalate.
Capricath rarely participates in mating flights, preferring the company of Ruka and River instead. On the rare occasions he does chase, he tends to choose greens whose riders Ruka prefers.
For a dragon who loves the stars as much as Capricath, the Red Star - along with the ancient menace it brings - is the only celestial body he hates.

Dragon Scent
The smoky scent of a burning campfire mingled with the aroma of hot, sugary s'mores - the image of a warm summer night spent with friends under the stars.
Sacred Space
Capricath's sacred space is under a night sky filled with stars. He can often be found at night, in places like the Star Stones, the desert, and even his weyr ledge, watching the star-filled sky. He has a knack for navigating by the stars, and will always know where he is at night if he can see the stars.
Inspirations
Egg
From the video game Granblue Fantasy - the floating islands of the Sky Realm at early evening, wrapped in sunset-kissed clouds.
Theme
Space, and the spirit of exploration! Capricath's mixed teal blue and night sky blue color is a homage to the uniforms of Starfleet's science officers in Star Trek, and NASA's "meatball" logo.
Dragon Name
Capricath's name stems from both the zodiac sign Capricorn and the constellation Capricornus.
