eBooks

I got into eBooks sometime in 2019. I reached a point where I had so many physical books, and wanted to read so much more, but I couldn't afford the space. (Also, I had just gotten into reading romance books - most of which have steamy covers - and didn't really want to be caught reading them and then have to explain what I was reading!)

I really like how convenient they are - you can read them anywhere you bring your phone (which, really, is everywhere) and when using an eReader, you can set it up to be as close to paper books as possible, lighting and all!

Also, if you're tech-savvy and have the right tools, you can make your own digital edition of a book - choose the cover you want, style the text, or add bonus chapters!

And there are so many books out there now with an eBook version. I've basically made it a rule for myself that if there's a book I want to read that I don't want to buy or that the library doesn't have, I get the eBook version. And then I only buy a physical book if it's something I really like. It's helped a lot with my space problem!
