Books
I admit, I don't read as many books as I used to. When I was younger, I would inhale books like water and could read them anywhere, even in a moving car! But nowadays, I barely have time during the day to crack open a book and read as much as a sentence. I suppose this is mostly because of my ADHD brain that can't sit still and do a single thing calmly and quietly (I swear, it gets worse as I age!) and the fact that social media has me doomscrolling on my phone whenever I get a break!
But whenever I do get a chance to read something, I have a Goodreads account to track it. I've participated in Goodreads' yearly reading challenges since 2019 - the year I read the most was 2019 (307 books) while the year I read the least was 2023 (5 books).
Recently I discovered that Goodreads has website widgets for basically every part of their site, and though it was a perfect opportunity to easily post overviews of my reading habits, and not have to worry about constantly updating them whenever I read something new! (Good Lord, am I really that lazy? Answer: Yes. Yes I am.)
