Anime
Like I've mentioned in my About Me page, I've been an anime fan since I was 11 years old. I started off with Sailor Moon and the rest of Cartoon Network's Toonami block (Robotech and Voltron, along with North American cartoons like ThunderCats, ReBoot and The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest). I also got into other anime of the same time period like Cardcaptor Sakura, Pokemon and Digimon. And there were other shows from when I was even younger that I didn't realize were anime until much later (I believe the very first anime I ever saw was an episode of Noozles when I was 4!)
I'm a big fan of 1980s mecha anime, and movies from Studio Ghibli and Makoto Shinkai. I like big-budget productions with great animation work (also known as "sakuga" anime) and late-80s/early-90s character designs with that familiar old-school charm!
