A quick update, since I haven't posted here in like 2 months! I recently finished writing a long fanfiction story for my post-canon Dragonriders of Pern series, Progress Fueled by Milky Klah. It took me roughly a year to complete, and is about 60-70K words and 27 chapters long. A huge accomplishment! I also finished writing a short, but long-anticipated one-shot in one of my other series, Sunrays and Turquoise Days. They're both posted on AO3, but I'll also work on posting them here soon!
Now that the writing's done, I'm not quite sure what to do next. A part of me is itching to write more, but I don't have an ongoing fanfic that I want to continue at the moment. (I DO have ongoing, unfinished, unposted fics, but my fickle ADHD interest isn't interested in continuing them right now!) And I'm currently too intimidated to start another story, for fear it would turn into a deep rabbit hole of a longfic that I'll probably never finish. I could try reading something, and I have piles and piles of unread books, but I just can't bring myself to start reading something. I could work some more on this site, but what's left to work on is really long and extensive and I'm too intimidated to jump back in!
Gah. I really just need to COMMIT to something and stick with it!
